Fantastic expanse

The distance between earth and the sun is comparable to the distance between an electron and its central proton cluster.  The vast distances are empty but for a few passing items, such as asteroids and nutrenios.  

When a mother gives birth the child, alive is given her first exposure to the air you have been living in your whole life.  Nine months of developement are shed from the warmth and sent out in the raw air.

man, in an attempt to make sure drops as large a rock as he can imagine into the deep ocean.  His friends on the shore pick up no virbrations.  Friends in Europe also measure for small ripples and are cern tain they had one but cannot explain what this means.
